2024 was a period during which geopolitical tensions, economic fluctuations, and the impacts of the climate crisis were felt more intensely on a global scale. Despite these global and local challenges, Turkon Line continued its steady growth, supported by its agile organizational structure, customer value–adding service model, and people-centered approach. The steps we have taken with a strong focus on operational excellence and sustainability reflect our ability to adapt to changing dynamics and our long-term vision.
Under these challenging conditions, we made significant investments to strengthen our fleet and enhance operational efficiency. The construction of two new-generation environmentally friendly vessels, initiated in 2023, aims to reduce our fleet’s carbon footprint while increasing our service capacity by 50% through the eco-ship concept and the capability to operate with five different fuel types. These investments not only enhance operational efficiency but also form the foundation of our sustainable transportation and environmental responsibility goals. In addition, by renewing our reefer fleet with new-generation, more environmentally friendly reefers, we continue to support our sustainable growth objectives not only through vessel investments but also through our container investments.

Together for Sustainability
The Sustainability and Innovation Management is the unit responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and implementing Turkon Line’s sustainability-related strategies and actions. The Management monitors sustainability goals, prepares reports, and meets employees’ training and resource needs with the support of senior management when necessary. The Innovation and Sustainability Committee evaluates Turkon Line’s sustainability strategies and makes decisions in collaboration with the Management. The management has established project groups to support and implement sustainability initiatives. These groups consist of employees who are experts in their fields and knowledgeable about sustainability, and all activities carried out are reported to the committee.
