Köprü Üstü Sohbetleri / Partner & Trend Talks

“Köprü Üstü Sohbetler” is a new internal communication platform that allows our employees to come together with customers and suppliers from different sectors to gain insights into current trends, operational approaches, and industry experiences. The main purpose of this project is not only to facilitate knowledge sharing but also to contribute to the development of our employees’ culture of innovative thinking through diverse perspectives.

Köprü Üstü Sohbetler continues to enrich our employees’ knowledge and perspectives by engaging in inspiring discussions with customers and suppliers from various industries.

Güverte Sohbetleri / Internal Expert Talks

“Güverte Sohbetleri” is designed as an internal communication platform where current developments affecting our industry and key projects relevant to our company are discussed in a Q&A format, moderated by a facilitator alongside the relevant internal stakeholders. All sessions are recorded in video format and shared within the company.

Waves of Opportunity: Empowering Women in Maritime

In 2002, our company opened its doors to female employees in the maritime sector. In 2021, we signed the 'Equal Opportunity Collaboration Protocol for Female Students in Maritime Departments.'Thanks to this initiative, at least 10% of our interns each year are female students. We are firmly committed to promoting equal opportunity in the maritime industry. Because at Turkon Line, equality should ripple outward—boundless and inclusive, just like the sea.

Our Supplier Code of Conduct

Turkon Container Transportation and Shipping Inc., together with its subsidiaries and all affiliated companies, implements its business plans in collaboration with all employees and stakeholders, adopting sustainability as a core principle in its environmental, social (workforce), and economic policies, and conducts its activities accordingly. Turkon Line is committed to using today’s resources while safeguarding the quality of life for future generations, protecting environmental values, and enhancing these values. In line with this commitment, it conducts its operations responsibly and consciously within the framework of sustainable development principles. Turkon Line expects all parties directly or indirectly involved as stakeholders or information providers in the service delivery process, as well as all suppliers in its supply chain, to adopt the same sustainability approach. Within this scope, by establishing Supplier Code of Conduct, Turkon Line expects all individuals and legal entities providing products or services to the company to fully comply with these rules in terms of the scope and implementation of the services they provide.

Colorful Hopes for Little Hearts

As Turkon Line, within the scope of our socially responsible initiatives, we delivered gift kits containing stationery items, prepared with the voluntary contributions of our colleagues, to the Sultanbeyli Social Services Directorate on April 22, 2025, to be distributed to children in need.

Marathons for Social Contribution and Responsibility

On November 7, 2021, during the N Kolay 43rd Istanbul Marathon, and on November 6, 2022, during the N Kolay 44th Istanbul Marathon, we ran on behalf of the “Gülmek İyileştirir Derneği” (Laughter Heals Association) to support their projects. These social responsibility initiatives aim to contribute to society while reinforcing our brand’s social awareness. Additionally, to further generate social impact, enhance our brand’s credibility, and make a lasting difference in a competitive market, we supported the “Umutlu Kartlar Project” by running on behalf of the Children with Cancer Foundation during the Türkiye İş Bankası Istanbul Marathon on November 5, 2023.

Container City Project

Following the devastating earthquakes that deeply affected our country in February 2023, Turkon Line undertook a major project to fulfill its social responsibility. Humanitarian aid collected from abroad, including the United States and European countries, for earthquake victims was transported free of charge by Turkon Line. In cooperation with AFAD, the Turkon Container City Project was implemented in İskenderun, with a capacity of 600 beds. The containers were converted into living spaces for six people, providing a settlement area that met essential needs. Completed in just 18 days, the Container City began operation on March 1, offering safe shelter for earthquake victims for approximately eight months before being handed over to AFAD.
