The negotiations between “International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA)” and “United States Maritime Alliance (USMX)” for the potential strikes at the ports of USA East Cost and the Gulf Area as of October 1st, 2024 is still in progress. We will keep you posted about it.
In order to provide regular service to you in the event of the strike, the following amounts of “Port Disruption Surcharge (PDS)” will be applied for all the shipments going to USA East Coast
as of October 20th, 2024
(The vessel departure dates are taken as basis for application);
20’ ...................USD 1100 / Container
40’-45’..............USD 2200 / Container
Open Top, Flat and Reefer Containers......USD 1500 / Teu
